    Description

    Another item from GNL Designs, Great Northern Liquidation, Springfield, Vermont.
    Vintage Burks Decatur E219 Centrifugal Pump, 1-1/2 x 1-1/4 NPT
    This item was in the inventory of a closed contractor.  It turns and seems to be in working mechanical condition.  I see old weld repairs as shown.  I am unable to test this item but expect it to work reasonably well for general water use where any seeping at the welds or the gaskets is acceptable.
    I find it difficult to measure thread sizes by tape measure, but here's my conclusions (please check my work):
    The fitting on the end (inlet I think) measures roughly 1-3/4" diameter, and a reducer is installed as shown.
    Looking that up on an NPT chart, I think that works out to
    1-1/2" NPT.
    The fitting on top (outlet I think) measures roughly 1-5/8" diameter and has a reducer installed with an old copper pipe fragment in that.  Looking that up on the NPT chart, I think that works out to 1-1/4" NPT.
    Aside from the above, this pump has normal signs of age and handling over the years.  The coupling part mounted to the 3/4" shaft with keyway is included.
