LOVELY VINTAGE CIRCA 1960s ERA,
SIGNED "DASON" - DAVIDSON & SONS JEWELRY CO. INC.,
MADE IN NEW YORK, USA,
10K YELLOW GOLD AND
2.0 CT PRONG SET, MARQUISE CUT PURPLE AMETHYST,
MCM - MID CENTURY MODERN FILIGREE DESIGNED,
LADIES BAND RING
NO MONOGRAMS OR ENGRAVINGS,
IN A US SIZE 6, TOP MEASURES 5/8" x 1/4",
SHANK IS 1/16" WIDE,
TOTAL WEIGHT OF 3.3 GRAMS
Shows typical minor wear from use and storage, including light surface marks and scratches.  It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine, and is very clean.  It is straight, not bent, stone has nice clarity, has no personal monograms or engravings, with no major issues at all.
It is hallmarked on the inside of the band DASON 10K P (plumb), the hallmark for listed and historic USA jewelry maker, Davidson & Sons Jewelry Co., Inc. of New York.  We did perform a stone and acid test, and it confirms 10K gold
.  Stone was tested with a Gemlogis Ciel tester and registers 4 high red marks and confirms a quality amethyst.
It has been measured with a professional ring mandrel at a US size 6 and the stone has been measured with a gemstone gauge tool at 2.0 carats.
