Wheels are made of Hemacite which is a combination of sawdust mixed with the blood of cows and pigs. Locks down to a 9 1/2" shoe. Nice old example of antique skates.

    You are bidding on the antique skates as described in the listing title and as seen in the 12 photos. Patent dates are April 26, 1881, March 10, 1885, April 28 1885, May 19, 1885 7 July 1886. Natural India Rubber Cushion in the frames. Hemacite wheels which were made out of sawdust mixed with the blood of cows and pigs. See Condition Description above.
