Unique Vintage - Cast Iron Baby Dragon Egg Piggy Bank

This sculpture is designed to look as if a baby dragon is emerging from it's egg. It is made of cast iron that has been molded into to halves to make up the whole. There is a slot on top for coins, if one wishes to use it as a bank, however the slot will only fit smaller coins. I believe it was designed more as a display item rather than for actual use. It appears to be hand painted and the two halves have been fused together in some areas by the paint. There is a screw on one side that can be removed to split it in half. It does not appear to have ever been opened.
This unique showpiece of a cute baby dragon emerging from his egg is a perfect addition for any dragon collector.
