    This Grooved mandrel is used in Jewelry making and repairs for measuring, sizing and enlarging rings - especially for stone set rings.

    Mandrel is grooved which is designed specifically to use whenever sizing a stone set ring. The groove prevents the impact of hammering on the mandrel while sizing to effect the mounted stone.
    Round Steel Mandrel is Graduated in US Standard Sizes with number markings ranging from
    Size 1 - 15, with increments of Full, Half and Quarter Sizes, making it easy to size the ring.
    The overall length of the mandrel is 11-1/2" - the Graduated working Length measures 8-3/4" Long -  The handle length is approximately 2-5/8".
