This auction is for a wonderful vintage and complete, Ten Page Newspaper from the year 1945, headlining the fact that the: Russians have declared War on Japan, as the Red Letter Headlines, Proclaim: "REDS DECLARE WAR ON JAPAN."
This Newspaper would be a good reminder of a period of time, so long ago, but so vivid in some of our memories.
Front Page contains: Picture of Scientists who
were
connected with the development of the Atomic bomb

as they confer at Oak Ridge, Tenn.
Contains: Market Report, Comics, Classified,
World
and Local News.
Also contains: Update from August 6, 1945, aftermath of the Atomic Bomb which was dropped on the Japanese City of Hiroshima.  Stating that 60 Per Cent of the City of Hiroshima, has been Destroyed.
It would certainly standout, if it were framed, and
placed in an office, perhaps a study, or even a private library.
Condition comments: This Newspaper has been folded, and will be shipped in this state.  Minor staining at right/top of front page. (See first provided Photo) There are several folds, tears at the folds and tears and bends
on
the edges.  The paper has age related toning.
This is Newspaper is complete, and in quite good condition for it's age.
