Rare Paper Mache 10” ROLY POLY MONKEY Rolly Dolly Toy Doll Germany Schoenhut?

Hello! I hope this finds you well.
This Roly Poly Rolly Doll Monkey is wonderful!
I purchased him from a family in Germany and they thought it was made
by Schoenhut, but I have no idea if so or of its age.
I assume he is a paper mache over pressed cardboard, but not sure.
He's rather large, measuring 10" tall.
He does have some paint lifting around his neck area and a few paint skips.
He's heavy/weighted.
He's really adorable.

All my items have been stored in a Smoke Free/Pet Free home.
(I do have an adorable Russian Tortoise but he's my baby!)
