At some point in time, it apparently came loose and its cleats let go of the paper covered mill board. no attempt has been made to disguise this or to replace the hoop with a replacement one. It's a redirectional curled tin hoop, which redirects the pinball upward and then into one of the 3 positioned tin curled bays, each with different prize amounts. The spring-loaded & wooden knob handled pinball launch is still intact & functioning. This is still a functioning vintage American bagatelle manual pinball game but without the tin balls and missing tin ball loop, it's now a purely but nevertheless, compelling & very appealing piece of vint wall decor.
