Beautiful and iconic image of a British soldier reaching across the ocean to welcome a British subject living in the USA back to the Empire. Great colors, excellent condition. British and Canadian Recruiting Mission written in lower margin. The British and Canadian Recruiting Mission operated under the British War Office. The BCRM was created to recruit British subjects in the United States for service in the C.E.F. Another great piece of Canadian Great War history.
