Colorful large-sized recruiting poster of a mother encouraging her upperclass son to join the war, and do his duty to King and Country. British recruiting posters usually played on the sense of duty and guilt for not participating. This poster is in good condition with some closed tears and staining in the lower margins. Some small nibblets out of the lower left margin. Published by the Parliamentary Recruiting Committee, London Poster No. 109. Printed by David Allen & Sons, this poster is dated August 1915.
