    This is a stunning 14K yellow gold ring suitable for a man or a woman. It is hallmarked "Italy 14Kt Star 404 AR" for Italian designer Il Gioiello Creazioni, founded 1981 in Arezzo and still producing high end pieces found on models in Vogue. It is channel set with a fancy cut Amethyst approximately 5 Ct. based on dimensions. The cut is a marriage of cushion and oval with Cabochon/Rose faceting. Inside diameter is about 19mm or about a size 8 1/2. There are some scuffs to the shank. Weight is 6.6 grams. Please see photos.
