Pewter” titled “Friendship”. Fine detail with phoenix on pedestal with book of spells on alter with crystal, mortar and pestle and more. The detail in this sculpture is remarkable, the photos don’t do it justice. The pewter is lead free and has a high silver content that allows the piece to keep a lustrous silver color that most pewter sculptures lack!
In European folklore and folk-belief of the Medieval and Early Modern periods, familiar spirits (sometimes referred to simply as "familiars" or "animal guides") were believed to be supernatural entities that would assist witches and cunning folk in their practice of magic.
Gallo Pewter is well known for combining originality and creativity in their "Lead Free" sculptures and this vintage piece called “Friendship" is a fine example of what gave Gallo Pewter their reputation of producing fine lead free pewter

This "Friendship" piece is designed by fantasy pewter artist/sculptor Stephen Tofano and signed “Gallo S.Tefano Fine Pewter” along the bottom of the circular base as he has signed many of his Gallo Pewter scenes and sculptures. It also has the copyright stamp in the middle of the base bottom “1991 GALLO”. Stephen Tofano is a commercial sculptor and fine artist and has created many of "one of a kind" sculptures which reside in many private collections throughout the U.S. and Europe. Some of his special creations can be seen in the White House and Forbes Gallery and has sculpted original art work for prestigious companies such as The Lennox Corp. and Hummelwerk/Goebel Art Inc. Pewter historically was an alloy of *tin and lead (up to 50% Pb). It became popular in kitchen ware such as plates, mugs, and utensils. By the mid-1700s the health hazards and tarnishing drawbacks of leaded pewter helped popularize Britannia metal a non-leaded form of pewter. Britannia metal consists of* tin, *antimony, and *copper.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
Shipping charges are calculated by location through the shipping calculator for each item.  I offer discounts for multiple orders by combining charges depending on weight. I do charge a handling fee on the calculated shipping to cover my costs of packaging materials, but I believe them fair compared to other fees I have seen on eBay and the comments from some of my repeat customers are proof. . Most expensive jewelry is shipped Priority mail unless you want it faster. Most other items are shipped USPS first class mail
unless the weight exceeds 13 ounces
, then it goes Priority.
International orders can go first class parcel if you don’t mind the wait or I can send them Priority but for heavy, larger items it can be expensive!
Depending on the weight of the pieces, many can be combined for the same rate.
Books, CD's, etc. are usually sent media for domestic orders and again many items can usually be included in 1 order for a combined shipping discount, especially CD's, unless you want it faster or if you live outside the United States. It takes 2-9 days for domestic media mail. Combined orders of printed (or recorded) material and gifts or jewelry cannot be sent media mail!
For payment I accept PayPal. Shipment will only go out after cleared payment International orders must use PayPal and are not refundable.
I accept returns for defective or damaged merchandise that is not represented as such in the descriptions, or for good reason, within 30 days of receipt of goods and only after authorization from me within 14 days of receipt. All returns must be returned in original packing and shipped back the same way received. Buyers are responsible for any applicable fees incurred by me through PayPal or EBay that are not refundable and any customs duty that may be applicable as well as return postage. If there is a problem with the item and It is my fault I will pay return postage or discount future orders depending on the customer’s preference. Items must be returned intact and specimen as originally sent. I prefer not to accept returns from outside the United States, unless I caused the problem.
I usually ship the same day clear payment is received and never more than 5 days after payment.
Feedback will be given after you receive the item and you are satisfied by leaving feedback for me.
