Beautiful Antique Composition Toy Cow Figure 4 1/4" Elastolin Steer Germany 1920

Description

This beautiful antique toy short horn steer figure is about 4 1/8" long x 2 3/8" tall and it was made by the Elastolin Co.(Germany). The figure is made of a sturdy composition material with a strengthening inner wire matrix or skeleton. The steer is beautifully formed with exacting detail and it is nicely hand painted. There is some wear but over all the cow figure is in very good original condition and it stands up and displays nicely. Ca. 1920. Very unusual figure!
