Design story. When Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick designed the Herman Miller Aeron Chair (1994), they combined a deep knowledge of human-centered design with never-before-seen technology to create a task chair unlike any other. In 2016, Don Chadwick evolved his chair to incorporate 20 years’ research in the science of sitting, as well as advancements in materials. “We really started from the ground up,” he says. “The result better supports the type of work we do today.” The changes include a new suspension system, better spine support, re-engineered tilt and more. It’s more lively, more responsive and more sensitive to body size. In other words, it’s everything the world loves about Aeron, plus more. This is the authentic Aeron Chair produced by Herman Miller. Made in U.S.A. Features and benefits. Adjustable PostureFit SL Support: SL refers to the sacral/lumbar region, which is the base of the spine up to the midback. This backrest supports the spine while maintaining the natural forward tilt of the pelvis, with two pads that flex independently to support your lumbar and stabilize the base of the spine for a more powerful seated posture. Breathable 8Z Pellicle Suspension Seat and Back: eight latitudinal zones of varying tension provide comfortable support while permitting air circulation to keep you cool. Seat Tilt Mechanism: Whether leaning forward or reclining back, Aeron supports you through the entire range of motion, keeping your movements smooth and balanced. Find your size. Aeron is available in three sizes so you can find a perfect fit. Size Small is recommended for height 4'10"–5'9", weight 90–150 lbs. Size Medium for height 5'2"–6'6", weight 130–325 lbs. Size Large for height: 5'3"–6'6", weight 180–350 lbs.

Shipping and Delivery:
Our shipping methods are determined by the type of item. Our available shipping methods are Fedex, Threshold and White Glove/In-Home delivery. Depending on location, some items might require a shipping quote our cost and delivery time could vary considerably. Smaller items tend to ship FedEx, and most large furniture pieces ships with full-service In-Home Delivery, which includes placement in your room of choice, assembly and removal of all packaging.
FedEx Delivery:*
Smaller parcels will be delivered to your door Tuesday–Saturday. Tracking information will be provided once your order leaves our warehouse. Typical delivery takes 5–10 business days from date of shipment. Parcels with a total combined selling price over 0 require a direct signature from the buyer. Tracking number's will be provided via eBay or e-mail.
Threshold Delivery:*
Larger parcels will be delivered over your threshold unless destination is a multi-unit building, in which case they will be left inside building entrance, not at your door. Typical delivery takes 1–3 weeks from date of shipment within the contiguous U.S. Includes an appointment with a 4-hour delivery window coordinated by an agent. Excludes unpacking, assembly and removal of packing materials. Please note: Deliveries to remote areas without highway access may take longer than usual
White Glove/In-Home Delivery:*
Larger parcels will be delivered into your space and placed as specified. Typical delivery takes 1–3 weeks from date of shipment within the contiguous U.S. Includes an appointment with a 4-hour delivery window coordinated by an agent, unpacking, assembly, placement in your room of choice and removal of packing materials. Excludes wall mounting, electrical work, structural changes, assembly of shelving and removal of non-DWR items. This method is sometimes required for select items subject to damage due to their size, weight or fragility.*Please note: Deliveries to remote areas without highway access may take longer than usual
Local Pickup:
When available, we offer free local pickup where the item is located at the time of purchase. Those locations are DWR Outlets located in Brooklyn, NY; Yonkers, NY; Oxnard, CA; Vero Beach, FL. Please make arrangements to pick up your items within 3 days of sale and/or contact us for more information.
International shipping:
Our items are designed and packaged for delivery within the contiguous U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada (limitations apply). We do not offer shipping or freight forwarding to international destinations; however, we can ship to a domestic freight forwarder of your choosing for international delivery
